Google releases data on exoplanets for space research

All of this data was collected from the training the Internet giant conducted on the Kléper satellite, designed by NASA.

Kléper is a space probe launched in space in March 2009 with the mission of looking for extrasolar planets, also known as exoplanets. The Google technology employed in the satellite gathered information about the change in the brightness of stars.
